Kindred Spirits at Gray Loft Gallery

October 04, 2019
GLG Kindred Spirits Back.jpg

I’m honored to have my work included in Kindred Spirits – a group show of analog photography at Gray Loft Gallery, curated by Jan Watten.  The exhibit features the work of Bay Area photographers and includes images from a wide array of traditional and alternative photographic processes – including pinhole photography, images made with Polaroid and plastic cameras, tin-types, and other film-based works.  This exhibit is a celebration of film. and embraces the unexpected and treasured qualities of this medium.

About Gray Loft Gallery:

Gray Loft Gallery – founded in 2012 – was voted Best Art Gallery in 2016 and 2017 in the Oakland Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards and has been referred to as a hidden gem in Jingletown.  The mission of the gallery is to provide exhibition opportunities for artists in a setting that is an alternative to the traditional gallery model. We hope to inspire, engage and celebrate artists in our community and beyond.  We acknowledge the achievements of emerging, mid-career and established artists – with an emphasis on those who live and work in the Bay Area.

The gallery is a member of the San Francisco Art Dealers Association, Oakland Art Murmur, Oakland Grown and Jingletown Arts, Business and Community.
